Privacy Policy

Last updated 28 July 2026

Slicework LLC ("Slicework", "we") provides operations software to franchise businesses. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it.

Most of the personal information in our systems belongs to the employees of our customers. We hold it on our customers' behalf. If you are an employee of a business that uses Slicework and you have a question about your data, your employer is the right first contact — but you may also write to us directly and we will help.

What we collect

What we do not collect

We do not collect Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, bank account details of employees, health information, or precise device location. We do not use the service's data for advertising, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.

How we use it

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run Slicework, and only as needed for that purpose. These currently include cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, and Stripe for payment processing. We do not send employee operational data to our payment processor. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Each customer organization's data is separated from every other customer's, and we do not permit one customer to access another's data.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card and bank account details are provided directly to Stripe and are handled under Stripe's privacy policy. Slicework does not store full card or bank account numbers.

How long we keep it

We keep operational data for as long as a customer's subscription is active, and delete it from active systems within 30 days of the end of the subscription unless the customer asks for a longer period or the law requires us to retain it. Billing records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.

Security

Access to customer data is limited to the people who need it to operate and support the service. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the fact that this is real people's employment data seriously, and we design around that.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information about you, or to object to certain processing. Requests from employees of a customer organization are normally handled through that organization. To make a request directly, email cole@slicework.io and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

Slicework is a workplace tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 other than in their capacity as an employee of a customer, where permitted by law.

Changes

We will post changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be communicated to customer administrators.
